Special Meeting of the Members Announced
The West Ferris Minor Hockey Association would like to announce a special meeting that will take place April 24th at 6:00pm and will be held at the Best Western Hotel on Lakeshore Drive.
The agenda for this meeting will include a change to the Rules of Operation (9.8) to allow Minor Atom-aged players to tryout for the Major Atom AA team.
A decision to amalgamate with North Bay Minor Hockey Association and a decision to change the name from West Ferris Minor Hockey Association to North Bay Minor Hockey Association.
As per the West Ferris Minor Hockey Constitution 6.2 (a) A Special General Meeting of the membership may be called at any time by resolution of the board or upon the written petition of not less than ten percent (10%) of the voting members addressed to the president and setting out the nature of the business to be dealt with at the special general meeting is sufficient detail to permit any member to form a reasoned judgment thereon.
