Fees for the 2021-2022 Season

Here are the fees for next season

Please read the following before sending your registration email.

If your child played for us last season, you can proceed to the registration portal.  If you are either new to hockey or new to our Association, please see below.

  • If you are a player who played with an outside Association last season, you will need to obtain your Hockey Canada member number.  A detailed instruction can be found here.  Once obtained, you can then register with us.
  • If your child is new to minor hockey, one of the parents must complete the Respect in Sport - Parent Program.  This will create a Hockey Canada member number for your child which you will require to register with us.  If you do not write down the number upon completion, see point above on how to obtain it.  You can complete the course here.

NBMHA 2021-22 Season Registration

In anticipation of a return to a normal hockey season this fall we are thrilled to be opening our registration to our Trapper Families.  Our board of directors is pleased to announce that fees for this coming season will remain unchanged.  This is our 6th consecutive year of NO REGISTRATION FEE INCREASE, and while the cost of operations continues to increase (ice rental costs, referees etc.) we have worked hard to keep our costs in check.  We have been able to accomplish this due to additional revenue from Tournaments (thanks to Terry Thomason), Bingo revenue (thanks to Willie Cowie and our bingo volunteers) and Sponsorship and Donations (thanks to Lisa Mason).

Registration fees for this upcoming season can be found on our website on the registration page.  All registration will be completed using Team Snap and the portal is now open for the next season.  We are starting registration early to allow for as many monthly installments as possible, register now to have 6 payments available to you.  All registration must be paid by Oct 1st, 2021.  Early registration will open May 3rd and run to Sept 1st, 2021.  After this time, your registration will be late, and you will not be eligible for the early registration rates.  Please sign up as early as possible to give us more time to plan and commit to ice requirements.

Our refund policy will remain the same as last season.  Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, there is a chance our hockey season may not play out as planned. If the NBHMA program is shut down by the OHF/NOHA, Hockey Canada, Public health Unit, province of Ontario, City of North Bay, or any other governing body, refunds will be issued on a pro rated basis. Keep in mind that some fixed costs will may not be able to be refunded.  Refunds will not be given to families who change their minds about playing hockey after they have stepped on the ice with NBMHA.  Refunds will not be given to families should guidelines from Hockey Canada or the OHF/NOHA change. For example, If the NOHA disallowed game play, we would alter our program to utilize the booked ice times.

Very shortly, we will be announcing our proposed Teams for the 2021/2022 Season with tryouts in mid to late September, followed by coach selection.  Please follow on the website and Facebook for further updates.
