New Arena Capacity Limits
North Bay, ON – Dec. 18, 2021 – New capacity limits will be implemented at City arenas starting
Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021 as a result of the latest measures announced by the province to help slow
transmission of the Omicron variant.
The province announced Friday capacity at sports and entertainment venues with an indoor capacity of
1,000 people or more will be limited to 50 per cent. This includes North Bay’s Memorial Gardens and
the West Ferris and Pete Palangio arenas. The province is also restricting food and drink services at
such venues.
The new capacity limits at City arenas will be as follows:
Memorial Gardens Sports Arena

There will be no food or beverage permitted in the arenas. Players will be permitted to bring in a water
bottle. Face coverings must be worn inside the arenas and during public skating.
