About Coach4Food and the North Bay Food Bank
- In 2017 the North Bay Food Bank served 11,050 clients of which 3,094 were
children. - The Food Bank serviced 6,300 households within North Bay and Redbridge.
- The North Bay Food Bank is open 4 days a week to serve our clients.
- The Food Bank exists solely on donations from our community and receives no
government funding.- Its existence relies on the generousity of our community and the
fundraisers held to keep the shelves stocked and the doors open. - More than 157,000 pounds of food was donated to Food Bank in 2017.

- Coach4Food is going into its 12th year of partnership with the Food Bank and
has been its largest single donor over this partnership. - The Coach4Food program raised over 20,000 pounds of food in 2017, but
more importantly we saw a large increase in participation, going from 9 teams
to over 27 teams last year. - The participation of local minor hockey teams is the reason the Coach4Food
program has been able to successfully help the Food Bank. - To continue is efforts to fill the shelves, the North Bay Food Bank has
developed a Food of the Month Campaign which has decreased the spending
on groceries.- This campaign, with partnership of local grocery/retail stores, outlines
the most needed items that people can purchase while shopping

Registration Fees for 2018-2019
The Board of Directors are pleased to announce that programming fees will remain the same for the 2018-2019 season. We are faced with an ice rental increase of $14 per hour and a rostering increase from Hockey Canada of $6 per registrant (players and coaches). This will result in an increase of $42,000 year over
